I was born in Maine, with lineage on both parent’s side dating back at least a few generations. With my first 4 years in Camden, I am primarily from Cumberland Ctr., near the Portland area, and have lived along the coast my whole life.
Between growing up with my father a Methodist minister, and my mother being physically handicapped from an illness occurring before my birth, being involved in service has always come naturally for me. I, too, enjoy the outdoors, spending much free time in nature—hiking, swimming, or just being—any day, any season. For me, caring about others and our natural world make a good blending.
I am actively involved in various groups and leadership roles at Belfast United Methodist Church, and likewise appreciate exploring other faiths, learning another’s spiritual practice, and what gives meaning to a person’s life.
Music is also a highlight for me. I sing in our choir—a great group of individuals and terrific choir director—we have a good time together.
I moved to Belfast in 1991 while attending and graduating from Unity College. Belfast soon became my second home, and has become a home base for both me and my business. Private Home Care, Inc. began in 2012. We are a personal care agency with clients comprising the Belfast, Bucksport, and Camden areas.
Our services reflect my passion for providing consistent, reliable services which address health, safety, and nutritional needs, as well as individual aspects of care, such as personal interests and activities.
We offer short- and long-term care services from 3- to 24 hours per day, always with back-up, to ensure our clients and their families receive reliable and consistent support.
With a focus on quality, a strong work ethic, and building relationships with both clients and the community, Private Home Care Inc. is dedicated to help individuals live as comfortably and independently as possible in their homes.
We are state registered, each employee fully insured, and bonded.
